Biography

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.”  Les Brown
“Work is love made visible.”  Kahlil Gibran
As a young child, I pursued art with great passion. My calling first exhibited itself when I took my mother’s hand and led her to the doors of an Art School in Pyatigorsk, Russia, where I grew up. In Art school I focused on developing drawing and sculpting skills.
In Russia, in addition to graduating from an Art School I pursued a law career, and established myself as a competent attorney. However, my desire to be a professional artist never wavered. After I came to America, I continued to paint in oils and exhibited my artwork in galleries and Art Festivals in the United States. In 2011 I decided to move to San Francisco from Ormond Beach, Florida and pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a professional artist by obtaining a MFA in Animation and Visual Effects from Academy of Arts University.
I live and work in San Francisco. In my work I always try to capture mood and tell the story, I am fascinated with color and light, and love to work on details in digital and traditional  media. I am working as digital artist but always practice traditional skills, as I believe that those skills allow me to better project my vision to the world.
